aloha! so i'm still alive in new zealand, i know, you were worried. this has been a big weekend so far, since my birthday was yesterday, last day of work was today, and i leave on the 8:25 ferry tomorrow! whoa...
so i had my first summer birthday ever this year- i rung it in with a good kiwi barbeque and excellent company! how fun!
tomorrow i head to nelson, which is at the top of the south island. that will kick off my ubertouristy trip around the south island, followed by a week in australia. yay! i'm saaad to leave wellington, but excited to see the rest of nz!
anyway, that was just a condensed version update, but i'll be home in a month and hopefully post again before that.
